Aircell's network uses a network of U.S. ground stationzs and an exclusivebroadband air-to-ground the company says. It claims the system is up to 56 timesx faster than atraditional dial-up The gear involved weighs 11 plus two belly-mounted antennae that weighy 1.25 pounds each.
